We are reliant on the kindness and generosity of our supporters.

A gift in your will is a great way to give continuing support to our animals here at All Creatures Great and Small.  At any one time we are caring for up to 120 animals who have come to us as homeless, unwanted, abused, abandoned or because their owners have passed.

As well as our beautiful cats and dogs we care for pigs, goats, sheep, horses, chickens, alpacas and a variety of small animals and water fowl.  Wherever possible our domestic animals are adopted by loving new guardians.  However this is not suitable for all and for these, along with the other resident animals, we provide lifelong welfare and housing.  You will see some of our animals on this website.  We welcome visitors to see our animals any day between 12-4pm.

Our running costs are around £300,000 per year including at least £30,000 veterinary costs and we receive no official funding.  Our animals are completely dependent on the goodwill and generosity of people who share our values of treating animals with the respect and consideration they deserve.

Whatever donations we receive, from £5 to £5,000 or more, all the money goes into caring for our animals.  We do not use third party fundraisers.

Making a will is an important step for all of us in ensuring our wishes are carried out when the time comes.  Did you know that a gift to All Creatures Great and Small in your will reduces inheritance tax on any remainder of your estate?  There is a lot of information on the tax benefits of leaving a gift to charity on Gov.uk.

It is always best to have legal advice when making your will to safeguard your intentions.  A solicitor will be happy to do this and if you have already made a will your solicitor can add a new instruction, which is called a codicil, thereby saving the cost of having the will completely rewritten.

A gift in your will mean our animals will still benefit from your ongoing support.
