1. Apply

If you are interested in one of our animals, fill out a “Perfect match form” or contact us via phone or email.

2. Meet and Greet

If your application is successful, we will invite all household members in to attend a “meet and greet” with the dog. All household members must attend in order to go ahead to the next stage.

3. Home Check

If the above is successful, we will then move onto a home visit to check the premises and the garden.

4. Adoption!

Once the home check has been passed you will then move onto booking an Adoption Date! All Adopters will receive 4 weeks Free PetPlan Insurance upon Adopting an animal from us. After re-homing, you’ll be able to access advice from the Sanctuary as needed for the rest of the dog’s life. Our Dog Assessor and Trainer, Gary Mathlin is happy to aid and advise with any queries.

IMPORTANT RE-HOMING CRITERIA FOR DOGS

Adult dogs – a re-homing donation of £250.00 is requested. Dogs under 12 months – a re-homing donation of £350.00 is requested. This helps us cover the costs of caring for our dogs, neutering, worm and flea treatment and also any further required veterinary care.

If you live in rented accommodation you will need your landlord’s written consent and will need to send this to us via email.

All dogs rehomed from us will be up to date with flea and worming treatment and will be neutered and microchipped before leaving the Sanctuary. (Unless exempt for medical reasons).

We do not re-home our dogs with existing dogs that are not neutered (unless for medical or exceptional circumstances).
