About me

  • Can I live with other cats? Potentially
  • Can I live with dogs? No - Tuna has never lived with a dog.
  • Can I live with teenagers? Yes
  • Can I live with young children? Potentially - As long as they are respectful of his space & have lived with a cat previously.
  • Do I have any medical issues? Potentially - Tuna is booked in for a dental on the 28th March 2025, he is also having a heart scan to rule out any abnormalities.
  • Can I live as an indoor cat? No - Tuna has always had access to the outside world. He did not use a cat flap in his previous home but has used the ones built into our cattery without issue. We have been informed by the late Owner's relatives that Tuna liked to go out in the evenings but would remain in the home throughout the day. He would scratch at the door to notify them that he would like to be let out!

Tuna is a sweet 5 (ish)-year-old cat searching for his forever family after the loss of his beloved owner.

Currently residing at our sanctuary, he had been receiving love and care from family members who had been feeding him within the vacant home after the owners passing.

This laid-back feline enjoys fuss and affection and all he truly desires is a peaceful life filled with love. Tuna is used to being the only pet in the home, so he’d thrive best in a calm environment without other cats or dogs.

While we have been told that he is not fully litter trained within the home, he has used his tray everyday whilst in our care. We believe that the recent upheaval in his life may have caused him some toileting stress, which is completely normal. With some patience and understanding, he can surely find his way back to being comfortable!

If you’re looking to welcome a gentle companion into your home, Tuna could be the perfect match for you. Let’s help him find the loving home he deserves!
