About me
- Can I live with other dogs? No - Lionel can be reactive to dogs whilst out on a walk. The Sanctuary can offer training classes to help with his reactivity.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes - 16+
- Can I live with young children? No - Lionel can only live with children over the age of 16.
- Do I have any medical issues? No - Lionel is fully health checked & has been signed off for rehoming.
- Can I live with cats? No
- Am I good on the lead? Yes - Being so tiny, it can take a few minutes to get his harness on as he doesn't like to stay still! He will spin & bark in excitement before a walk.

Originally rescued by ACGAS in February 2024, Lionel enjoyed a cozy home life for 10 months after being rehomed in May 2024. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances involving a child, it was decided that Lionel would benefit from returning to the sanctuary, to be given a 2nd chance in finding his perfect forever home.
This sweet boy is known for his clingy and affectionate nature. He thrives on human companionship and is always eager to announce his presence with his delightful vocalizations. With a big personality packed into his small frame, Lionel is sure to bring joy and laughter to your life!
Lionel is a playful pup at heart, with a penchant for de-stuffing cuddly toys. His youthful, puppy-like demeanour will keep you entertained and engaged. However, it’s important to note that Lionel prefers to be the only pet in the household, as he cannot live with other dogs or cats.
We’re seeking dog-savvy owners who have an adult-only household, as Lionel would thrive best in a calm and loving environment where he can be showered with attention and care.
