Introducing Miss Isla, our playful Westie ready to steal your heart! & maybe some slippers....
About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Yes - Isla currently has two doggo bestie's at the Sanctuary, Riley & Ruby (Labrador & Spaniel). Isla gets on well with other dogs & always gives them a polite greeting. She will pull towards them on the lead to say hello.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? Yes - As long as they are respectful of her space.
- Do I have any medical issues? No - Isla is booked into our vets for the 9th April 2025 - to be spayed.
- Can I live with cats? Potentially - Isla has travelled in a vehicle recently with a cat, she was not bothered & ignored them the entire journey. Please Note - We can only accept applications from a household with resident cats, if the cats have lived with a dog before without issue.
- Am I good on the lead? Yes - Miss Isla walks beautifully on the lead. She loves to go on sniffy walks & has a "potter around" pace. Sometimes we think she is far too calm for a 1 year old! but her true personality may show once she is out of the kennel environment!
Miss Isla is a spirited 1-year-old West Highland White Terrier (Westie) ready to find her forever home!
This energetic little puppy is full of life and love but unfortunately, her previous (elderly) owners could no longer care for her due to her playful nature and puppy antics.
Despite her youthful exuberance, Isla has been an absolute angel while in kennels. She enjoys her daily sniffy walks, making it a pleasure to take her out. Isla is highly sociable and gets along well with other dogs, making friends wherever she goes. Plus, she’s not bothered by cats or chickens, which makes her a great fit for a variety of households.
