About me
- Can I live with other cats? No - Tina enjoys being the center of attention, making her ideally suited to be the only cat in the household. She has never lived with other cats, so she is not accustomed to sharing her space.
- Can I live with dogs? No
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? No - Tina can be a bit feisty if she's handled too much, so she would be best suited for a home with older children.
- Do I have any medical issues? No - Tina is currently free of any medical conditions and has undergone a complete health check by a vet.
- Can I live as an indoor cat? No
Tina first came to us in early 2024 after her owners moved to a smaller home located near a busy road. Concerned for her safety, they decided to keep her indoors. However, having always had outdoor access in her previous home, Tina was unhappy with this arrangement. For her welfare, her owners chose to surrender her to our rescue, allowing us to find her a safe home away from busy roads where she could explore freely.
Tina was successfully rehomed in January 2025 but was sadly returned to us on April 11th. Her previous owner noted that she was a bit feisty and preferred a more cuddly cat.
Tina is a strikingly large cat with a vibrant personality! Weighing well over 5kg, she is a mix of domestic short hair and British short hair, making her a truly magnificent sight.
She has a great love for food and can be a bit of a “chunky monkey.” If you have treats, she will eagerly become your best friend; however, if you try to pet her without offering food first, she might let you know she prefers to be left alone!
