About me

  • Can I live with dogs? No
  • Can I live with teenagers? Yes - 16+ - must be cat savvy
  • Can I live with young children? No - Crumpet can be very nervous on occasion & can react with a swipe. Therefore, he would be best suited to a home with children over the age of 16, that have lived with a cat previously.
  • Do I have any medical issues? Yes - Crumpet was given 7 days treatment of eye drops for an ulcer (Left Eye) between the 11th February - 18th February. He was burrito'd for the treatment & was a very good boy! The team are closely monitoring the eye to ensure that no further treatment is required.
  • Can I live as an indoor cat? Yes - Crumpet has always been an indoor cat.

Crumpet was signed over to our care after he had suddenly attacked his owner unprovoked. Whilst his owner was taking the Christmas tree down, he gripped her leg & ran away. We do not know the extent of the injury or whether it was a bite or scratch.

Crumpet is a shy little man who requires a peaceful home where he can take things at his own pace. Gentle encouragement such as tasty dreamies or lick-e-licks can win him around to jumping off his shelf to say hello. He does like a head rub but can be very wary of sudden movement & noises. He sadly does not fully trust the Animal Welfare team as of yet but they are working very hard to prove to him that they are not a threat.

Due to his nervous disposition, he would be best suited to an adult only home with a cat savvy owner. All he needs is a quiet, chilled out life where he can show his true personality in his own time.
