About me
- Can I live with other dogs? Potentially - Wispa could possibly live with a dog of a similar size to her (Springer Spaniel). She has been introduced to a larger breed of dog (Labrador) whilst being in our care but she quickly made it clear to her handlers that she was not comfortable & prefers to be around dogs of her size & temperament. Her current bestie is a calm, 4 year old male Spaniel.
- Can I live with teenagers? Yes
- Can I live with young children? Yes - Wispa has previously lived in a home with a 5 year old child.
- Do I have any medical issues? No
- Can I live with cats? No - Wispa has never lived with a cat before. We were informed by her previous owners that when she has come into contact with a cat, she can become over excited & can try to chase them.
- Am I good on the lead? Potentially - Wispa does tend to pull in the direction she wants to go towards but she makes sure to check in with her handler on a regular basis. From what we have observed, she can react to chickens whilst on a lead walk. She is very food motivated & relies on her handler for reassurance in unfamiliar areas.
Wispa is a Spaniel sized, Pointer X that is on the look out for a new home.
Wispa lacks a little bit of confidence & is looking for a home where she can be the centre of attention. She is a very friendly, loving girl who loves to make new friends.
She is looking for consistent companionship as naturally, being in the Rescue has confused her quite a bit.
As a young dog, Wispa has plenty of energy & curiosity. Being a Pointer X, her nose is always to the ground. She would enjoy an active home where she can take part in lots of adventurous walks, brain games & would benefit from joining basic training classes.
Wispa is a natural cuddle bug & adores her 1-1 time with her handlers. This sweet girl will make anyone’s heart melt after first greeting.
